The honest comparison

Four ways to fill a table. One built for yours.

Hosts of curated experiences usually juggle one of four tools: a ticketing marketplace, a tour-booking system, the group chat, or a spreadsheet of bank transfers. Each was built for a different night. This page is an honest look at where each one belongs, and where Boketta fits.

When each one belongs

We will tell you when not to use us

Every tool on this page is good at something. The trick is knowing which night you are planning.

Eventbrite

Use it for the big night out

Selling two hundred general-admission tickets to a launch or a concert? Use Eventbrite. It is built for exactly that, and it is good at it. Its checkout is a marketplace page with its own branding, a fee line, and suggestions for other events on the way out.

FareHarbor

Built for tours, not tables

Running walking tours, boat trips or day excursions? FareHarbor knows that world well. It was designed to move crowds through activities, which is a very different rhythm from setting one long table with names and dietary notes on it.

The group chat

Free, until you count your evenings

Hosting eight regulars who always show and always pay? Keep the DMs, honestly. Boketta earns its place when the table grows past the people you can track in your head, and when transfers, screenshots and allergy threads start eating your week.

Side by side

The same night, four different tools

Scroll the table sideways on a phone. The column that matters is on the right.

Questions hosts ask us

Which booking tool should I choose for my supper club?
It depends on the size of your table. For hundreds of general-admission tickets, a large ticketing platform is the right tool. For an intimate dinner, tasting or pop-up where every guest matters by name, Boketta is built for that night: prepaid seats, your own branding, and guest details captured at checkout.
Do guests need to create an account to book with Boketta?
No. A guest opens your page, pays, answers the questions you chose to ask, and is confirmed. There is no marketplace account, and no nudge towards somebody else's event on the way out.
Can I keep taking payment the way I do today?
Yes. Collect payment through Boketta's checkout, or keep the payment link you already use and mark guests as paid from your guest list. Either way, a seat is only held once a guest is confirmed.
Who keeps the guest details I collect?
You do. Every note sits on your guest list, ready for service: who is coming, what they can and cannot eat, and what they are celebrating. Boketta is a tool you use, not a marketplace that owns your guests.
